What a weekend

I laid there in my bed Sunday morning...maybe a lil drunk still. Myself and my company of 5 had to ourselves a bottle of Goose and Kettle, disappearing within a couple hours. Alcoholics maybe..or just weekend warriors. UFC was good this Saturday, BJ Penn looked almost god like in his fight to hold his lightweight title..and Diego Sanchez..not so much. That kick to the face that stopped the fight added insult to injury to an already dominated BJ Penn fight. Met some new friends this weekend. Got some new numbers. Can't complain about this weekend, well maybe the fact that it was raining too much and I couldn't ride my bike as much but it's nice and sunny now.

Its a common place to be able to see me or any of my friends here. They've got some delicious food in there, and for all we know it may be the only fast food place left in future, just like in Demolition Man. Ive probably eating 50 of those Gordita Crunches since their cheap 3.99 combo came out. Probably won't ever get sick of it. Well..maybe..

Cars and BMX

They're both passions of mine. I guess you can say that bmx has lead me to become the mechanic I am. Starting early wrenching on bmx bikes and taking them apart, gave me the apparition to become a mechanic...

Bushings?.. What bushings?

I hear this question a lot while at work... "Should I do stiffer bushings..? My response is usually..sure why fu** not. It'll usually be stiffer and cause more noise and vibration. Most people don't care..at least the pure enthusiasts don't. Now what I'm leading to is, what if you dont have any bushings at all, but instead a solid piece of aluminum..? You get a responsive as hell rear subframe with a lot of fu**ing noise..oh and some JDM STYLE YO!!

Yea..riiiight...

Why are some people so difficult.. its almost impossible to just walk through life without all these difficult situations. You try to simplify things and almost anybody can come up to you and make it 20 times harder than it should of been..why? Fu** you thats why.

Well initially you don't really ever think about things like this. When you're growing up you don't really conceive it, but you're aware of it. There's no way in hell I'm gonna get deep with this topic, cuz one, I'm not a female, and two...it's not gonna happen to me anytime soon. But for some like my boss and now mrs. boss, they've gone forth and done the deed and I can't be happier for them. Getting married is sacrificial almost, you're giving up your single life to pledge your allegiance to one person. It's an awesome concept and a great way to live happy. So congrats to my boss and the mrs, with many years to come.

So speaking of those ballers that we get on the daily... there are ones that pretty chill and are pure automotive enthusiasts. You know the ones that own multiple cars and just will throw whatever money at them cuz they already have the best but want more out of the best. If you didn't know, that's what we do at my work...

I've always been a fan of comfortable seats..I mean who the fu** isn't. You want the best seat in the house and the best materials and plush foam for that ass of yours..weather big or small. I literally sat in this for a good 5 minutes..its a good oldskool type design, something like what came in the early vdubs. For the price its not bad..somewhat comfortable. Corbeau has never really let me down...

Everyone is always tryin' to one up the next person..its always the competitive nature of humans. It's the only way we as a race have succeeded..what does this have to do with anything I'm about to blog about?? absolutely nothing..except that this G that I turfed on 20's is looking pretty legit..

Really..

You know I always look more positively towards the future, at least I try to, but honestly..come on, who can always say they've stayed positive their whole life even when the shit hits the fan?? If you're anything like me, raise your hand... In the sense that yes there has been times that I just want to drive off a fu**ing cliff. But in a sense of being rational..forget it, ill stay on the road for the time being.

Now being in the car industry is something of a blissful yet hateful relationship. Especially in the aftermarket world where my work presides. You get all kinds of people coming in here..some that aren't effected by the economy and some that are.. And its completely random how some are when it comes to be on top of the world with their Lambo's and Maserati's.. some stay grounded while others relish in the fact that they are still rollin' deep with there bankroll.. fu** em'..

I'm just another hard working guy happy to have a job in this time of unemployment. And further that, I still get to work on the cars that make my appendages tingle when I stack my foot on that accelerator... let the good times roll... well at least as far as the gas in my car will take me.
That's one more thing..the gas prices seem to be staying stable for the moment.. Looks like Obama is doing some good.. for now.. some people don't like him, I don't have an opinion because honestly I have no clue about politics. I'll leave that to the politicians that run this country..either to the ground or to the moon.. fu** it

So for now I'll take what I can and I have fun with it.. I advise you that you should do the same..
